he wasn't a rocker,,, punk was his philosophy ... he was an Orthodox Jew who went to the homeland, eretz Israel, and was immediately conscripted the moment he got off the plane. Got shot several weeks later, and returned to Canada a broken and disillusioned man. That was when he turned to punk philosophy. It's all about rebellion.
