Ok, this hit me today...Jw's teach its all about god's sovereignty and vindication of his name, Satan challenged his sovereignty in garden of eden, also with Job, he made the challenge Job only served God because of everything God did good for him. And to make our choice clear, he asks mankind to ...be wise my son and make my heart rejoice so that i may make a reply to him that is taunting me...

THEN, the next question is...didn't God basically take a bet???? Wagered with mankinds lives?? If we decide to side with one or the other, then we are just tipping the scale one way or another and winner has the most subjects?? STRUCK ME AS VERY ODD...

At the same time, if you get caught in a casino or playing the lottery, Jw's will DF you....hippo-critical?? it seems so to me....

Like all god's, the god of the bible, has been invented with the characteritics as displayed by people. Yes folks, god is indeed created in man's image!

Why didn't Jehovah just kill the Devil and all the Demons and start over. Instead of this cruel game he has been playing for thousands of years. I always wondered that.

The whole "Jehovah is proving Satan a liar" by letting him run roughshod over the world is such garbage. If I were Jehovah, Satan gets his ass kicked the second he starts messing with my creation.

But not the JW-Jehovah, he's just an impotent do-nothing who lets kids get raped in his org, and its just one big test to get into the magical eternal petting zoo.

No. JWs teach the challenge between God and anti-god is like a court room decision. Once settled always settled. Forever. The end becomes the precedent. I think it rings truth. But the Watchtower teaches each one makes a difference in the outcome. That, I believe is not true. Personally, of course it makes a difference, but not in the heavenly "courtroom", it makes no difference to Satan there. It is for the future, not for faith now.

    I could be wrong.

I've heard the "court case" illustration used before. However, it's not an accurate illustration. In a court case, two parties are in disagreement and a higher authority listens to each side and makes a ruling.

In the case of Satan vs Jehovah, there is no higher authority to hear the case. Jehovah is the higher authority. It shouldn't take a long drawn out court case to decide the fact of the matter.

To me Jehovah's example of letting Satan rule is better illustrated by a man who invents a widget, builds a company to build and sell said widgets. Along comes an employee who says he can do a better job of building them. He enlists the aid of a couple key people to try to win over to his way of thinking and spreads mis-information about the current owner and his business plan.

What would a smart, savvy business person do? Well, Jehovah basically said, "I tell ya what... I'll go on an extended vacation, trip around the world or something. In the meantime, I'll let you usurpers run things however you see best. When I get back, we'll see how you've run things into the ground and I'll set things right and get the company back on firm footing."

It doesn't take a business major to know that that's just the dumbest idea ever. Instead, a smart owner would fire all the disloyal and disobedient employees, making sure no one can sabotoge his business and to send a message to the other workers, 'don't even think about f'g with my company'.

RIGHT...! Also, its odd that Jw's teach God will intervene in mankinds affairs.....why not be proactive instead of reactive??? On one hand nothing is done to stop the mess Satan caused, yet some guys with primitive building skills at best start building a tower..."oh no we cant have that!!" i'll screw up their heads so they speak a new language....there that will fix em.... Jw's God has been very reactive instead of proactive it seems...your right, i make something that is a masterpiece...im gonna jealously defend its pristine state, no-one is gonna mess it up or they get their a** handed to them!

I have called it a bet to my friends when explaining it. I also consider it a bet he has lost. 7 milllion witnesses following god v 7 billion humans following Satan. Satan has 1000 times more followers. Even if say all christians Satan is beating out god 6 to 1.
