Your profile pic lead me to assume you were a female.

    *start tongue-in-cheek rant*

Jeez, does no one pay attention to the little gender symbol next to people's name?

Can't a guy like faeries and ponies and unicorns and such without being called a female or gay?

    *end tongue-in-cheek rant*

I suppose I could try to dig up a more "manly" profile pic if needed.

LOL, the gender symbol doesn't show up unless you click on the profile name

Your new, ultra masculine pic shows up now.

I registered on JWMatch just for a good laugh and believe me, I haven't been disappointed !!

Some of the most pathetic brothers particularly, especially this bro from Africa who wants a wife to watch TV with and sing Kingdom songs !!

I posted a profile of a sister. I am a guy by the way. Anyhow, the picture I used was of a Penthouse Pet taken when she was signing autographs. It looks classy, nothing naughty. Well, I got over a hundred letters from "brothers" wanting to get together LOL. I think I must be the most popular girl on the site LOL.

For those not familiar with Penthouse, it is a Porn mag in the USA. Their symbol is a styleised key. The lady in the photo I used had a necklace with that key. Severl guys commented on it one even being so bold as to talk about the key to his heart. God, most of the letters were almost offensive. I really understand some of what women have to deal with now LOL.

I met my wife on JWMatch. I didn't even have to pay. After a few months of just lurking there, I guess I had enough hits they gave me a free week. I made all my contacts, found many weren't checking it anymore or got married or engaged and never updated their profile, filtered out the weirdos (of whom there were many), and settled on one.

A few were DFed; one of whom's sister contacted me and told me to leave her alone because she had to focus on getting reinstated rather than dating. One waited until we'd been talking for a while and I drove for 6 hours to visit her to tell me she had herpes. I drove 6½ hours to visit another and discovered she'd posted pictures that were from 19 years ago. One was a nutjob, uber pioneer, Society-worshiper who demanded to know if I submitted to the GB. I had to block her, because she wouldn't leave me alone. One couldn't relocate because she had an open criminal case against her.

In my experience, some of the "JW" sites are just singles sites that have many names. They just lump you together after they get you signed up, thinking you're signing up for a targeted group. At best, some just throw the JWs who sign up in with "Christians".
