A few days ago I received a friend request from an a guy whom I used to work with many years ago. I accepted his request and this morning I receieved a salutation from him as well as a link to a video (posted below). Much of what is in the video sounds as if it came straight from the Watchtower such as the use of "Christendom" as all other churches, the paganism that permeates Christianity, the removal of God's name from the Bible. I did not see any reference to a particular church or group so I am asking if any of you know what group is behind this clip?
JW-like link from an old co-worker
No idea!! As you say the overtones are very JW and actually made me feel quite nausious.
I don't know what religion that dude is, but I do know that he is a whacko! A person who posts religious rants in all caps with no punctuation or paragraphs has got to have a few screws loose!
It's Heavens Crown Ministries.
There's a lot of disenchanted people in the churches today. Many will never go back, and others buy an old building and start an ecclesiastical group. Even though I can't speak for those in the video, most of those who've read WT literature, or some other "left field" idea look similar. Aslo, like congregational groups; have no affiliation with a religion other than their single church and may only give the "Apostles Creed" as their main doctrine. Even without a said GB, these type of believers have become numerous though out the world these days!
PS: I can tell you more in SoCal this week...
More like the 5th and 6th however.
"Heavens Crown Ministries" ? Who are these folks? There does not seem to be much about them on the web.
I read a bit on "Yahwehs" website and after that I parused a few other related sites. I find it amusing that many people have "talked to God" and in his kindness he has revealed his true name to them. Strange thing is that it is not always the same.
Revealed "true" name of God
YAHOO (maybe a copyright infringment)
Revealed "true" name of the son
When I researched it on the web (a two year period) some of the; linguistic experts, semitic professors,
and biblical historians came to the conclusion that the closest we can come to sounded like..."YeHuWaH."
YeHuWaH - Another addition to the list. LOL
