Nowottimean ? There was an annoying fashion among the young some years ago to end every sentence with "right ?" or something similar like "Yea?" and you were supposed to affirm that you understood their Neanderthal gruntings with a nod or a grunt in return, if you didn't they would persist with the "Right?" or "Yea?" question before going on to their next earth shattering point.
We had an Elder who agreed with your answer with "very much so".
All this superfluous flummery is very annoyoing to us pedants.
