Has anyone actually communicated, or better still, spoken to Steven Unthank?
Many in the facebook exJW online community are doubting that he's real, and that this issue he's presenting is real.
Can anyone confirm he's a real person?

article written by Graeme Hammond on news there,,maybe you could verify with Mr Hammond at that newspaper?
I have to wonder a little about all this, since the $144,000 fine was mentioned.
Just sounded Onion-y to me.

Penalty for a corporate body is $143,352. Mere coincidence.

Can anyone be sure they are exJWs, or active JWs disparaging him and his case?
Hmm, I recognise many of their names from other sites. I'm just as sure they are exJWs as I'm sure you are one too.
I am interested if anyone's had real life communication with him. Not just relying on a friend-of-a-friend type of thing.
bttt
I think the source of many doubts stems from the fact that earlier this month the big news was that he had dropped the case for lack of funds. That was in the newspapers.
Now a story comes up outlining the progress of the case as if the "dropped charges" never happened. It seemed fishy.
Barbara Anderson cleared up several things in her thread, though, and I believe her. Mr. Unthank, and these charges, are legitimately being brought against the Borg.
(Personally, I would like to have also seen "The Borg" listed as a defendant. LOL)
