Me: I use too walk with you people, I was A elder

Elder: really, I was new in 1975 and I wonder why so

many left, it wasn,t clear to me at that time.

Today are you involve in any religious org.

    Me: no, Iam A agnostic.

Elder: really, how are you mentally , your health.

so begain studying history of JW,s and that did

    it for me.

They won't be back. I've tried talking to JWs and I don't tell them I am a JW. They want you to shut up and listen, because that's what they have to do. Presenting an opinion or knowledge just slows their process. It already takes a year to indoctrinate a potential new member, without resistance. They're not going to rollerskate uphill with you and run the risk of someone tattling on them for talking to "apostates". The Society knows exactly why that rule is in place and that's information control. They'll throw someone out quick who's talking to apostates, because it means he'd be hearing things they don't want him to know and he might spread them to others.

If you wanted to play cat and mouse with them you could have told them that you had a relative in the JWs who no longer attends the meetings. That way they may come back thinking that you were merely stumbled by your relative.

Wontleave: the problem here was he was asking the question.

I could see the MS was becoming uncomfortable with the

question the elder was asking. It was strange.

Terra: I was up front. I was Df, I did not believe in the

JW teaching and I an Not interest in coming back. Most

JW turn and run when they found out you was DF. And

to make the statement, I do not believe in your teaching.

I really beleive he will come back.

"Elder: really, how are you mentally , your health."

Did the Elder asked that question because a recent Watchtower using the term "mentally diseased"?

Or is that a standard question they ask people who have left long ago?
