    S-303 form 1988

Today I uploaded to my blog a new article detailing the information Watchtower has historically asked circuit overseers to gather during their bi-annual visits to congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The article is titled S-303 form 1988 and is available at: http://marvinshilmer.blogspot.com/2011/05/s-303-form-1988.html

It's clear a "how many" business corporation. They love numbers!

It's a standard form to keep tabs on the congregation. I love how it includes the condition of the Kingdom Hall and recommended improvements. We've learned that this is a way to get money out of the locals to the Regional Building Committee and sometimes even to mortgage the property to Headquarters. They probably own all the Halls by now through remodeling or through recommending to the locals to sell and buy bigger property thru WTS loans.

Yes, I can see Jesus now filling out that form and sending it to God.

Man, can they get a bit more granular!

I'd venture to say that for every field and entry on that form there is a corresponding field and entry in a database somewhere.

From there, data mining and analysis is fun. Bet they can see trends forming waaaay ahead of the curve and react correspondingly.

    YB,

Granular? You bet it is. It's been that way since Knorr took the reigns.
