    from page 13

In summary, the Writing Department insists on using

only material that is accurate and truthful, even

regarding seemingly insignificant details. As a result,

"the faithful and discreet slave" can consistently supply

spiritual food that brings honor to "the God of

    truth," Jehovah.-Ps. 31:5.

But regarding the delightful story about Newton, after casting aspertion on the story they say "Consequently, our Writing

Department no longer uses this account in our publications". (Notice the "no longer uses".) So until someone (probably some angry apostate LOL brought it out as being bull) they were using it.

Is this the Watchtower's equivalent of a press release apology?

More like a bullshit way of saying although we acknowledge (and only they would do this because they know the dubs will say "aren't they wonderful" even though they just said they acknowledge using bad sources. But just like 1975 was never said by them, here even though they just admit that they have been using shite a witness would say but they never said that. It's a big whatever I suppose. They are brain dead though.

"only material that is accurate and truthful"

How can they say that with all the changes and flip flops in major doctrine?

It just sounds like a lie to me.

    Because they can.

    And this from page 16

Because large sports stadiums are often used for

these conventions, a tremendous amount of planning

and work is done to ensure that the venues are dignified

places of worship to Jehovah. In Peru, for example,

because a game of soccer was scheduled before the

convention, the brothers were not able to enter the stadium

to clean it and get set up until the night before

the sessions were to begin. Although 3,000 volunteers

were asked to help, over 7,000 brothers and sisters arrived

at 6:00 p.m. and worked tirelessly all through the

night to get the work done. That first day of the convention

saw many brothers and sisters nodding off, since they had no

sleep the night before. However they all reported that they were

able to transcribe the info that night at their places of accommodation.

Apparently Jehovah had opened their minds, even though they

were asleep allowing for a large shout of praise.

There's that word! "Apparently"... I'm surprised they didn't insert an "evidently", for good measure. Either way, I call total, complete, and utter bullshit on this story. I fell asleep during assemblies and conventions and never could remember a damn thing.

Oh, the GB are so full of Shitakke mushrooms it's untrue. They lie, they lie, they lie. they twist scripture to seem to agree with their filth.

"Woe to those who are saying that good is bad and bad is good, those who are putting darkness for light and light for darkness, those who are putting bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20)

    .......and from my book bag.............
