    Henry,
There would be no need for the 144,000, for that
matter there wouldnt have even been a jesus!
Why does God need help now?
Also, you havent answered why it is clear of the
hope of the manority(144,000) and not so clear
for the majority(great crowd)If there are two classes
of christians the great crowd sould be the focus and most
important, after all the anointed are to be looking after
these ones.THis makes no sense to me.If anything the
future of the great crowd sould be spelled out more
clearly, thay are the ones that are persuaded to beleive.
The anointed suposedly just know, they dont need
any verse to tell them there going to heaven.
Not true for the great crowd

You are right, there wouldn't have been a Jesus that came to earth to die for our sins. This process would not have been necessary if all humanity was perfect and sinless.

God does not need help. The Messianic Kingdom is the means that he uses to get the issue settled once and for all. He has delegated that responsability to his son.

Your issue with the earthly and heavenly hopes is just a matter of perception. The earthly hope is clear in the scriptures, specially in the Psalms and Isaiah. Maybe Jehovah thought that this was common sense and did not see it necessary to reiterate it again and again. Although the descriptions of that perfect world are presented as a paradise, no sickness, peacefulness, etc...

The heavenly hope was a new hope and is mentioned many times by Paul. He was counseling those early Christians and helping them to hold firm to their faith throughout their trials.

Neither David nor Isaiah nor any Old Testament figure, nor Jesus, nor the Apostles, nor the early church, nor later church, nor Russell, nor Rutherford, nor his successors, nor Jws dying in our times have lived eternally on earth (even if that was their hope). They are all gone from the earthly scene. And there are those who will continue to hope. And they will die like the rest.

    Exactly!

Daniel 11:35 ... a KEY prophecy that must be fulfilled before the "time of the end" gets underway.

    Henry,
You stated "Maybe jehovah thought that this was
common sense and did not see it necessary to reiterate
    it again and again."

COMMON SENSE: defined in the dictionary is =NATIVE GOOD
    JUDGEMENT[COMMON FEELINGS OF HUMANITY]

There are many things stated in the bible and other
"holy" books that follow under this.(thou shall not
    murder for exampe)
Being that hardly any other religion are bible
scoller beleive or interpet these scripture this
same way, this would not fall under "common sense"
(no were does it say you will live for ever on earth)

Also, you states "the heavenly hope was a NEW HOPE mentioned
    by paul"

I agree with this, where does it say that ever changed?

Never does it mention in Rev 21:3,4 of earth. The same is
true of other scritures that mention paridise, the new hope
(heaven) on the other hand is mentioned in conection with
    such rewards.

I can see that heavenly life is very appealing to you. It really is a wonderful hope, but we cannot ignore Psalms 37 and Mat 5:5. The words are included as part of the inspire word that includes also the heavenly hope.

Although heavenly life as a hope is given in the Greek Scriptures, let's reason on Lazarus and his resurrection. If the resurrection happens "in the twinkling of an eye" then that would have placed Lazarus in heaven as soon as he died. Why would Jesus bring him down to earth again? What was Jesus teaching by resurrecting him on Earth?

Why would anyone want to live forever on an earth that is populated solely with Jehovah's Witnesses? I think I'd rather do the lake of fire thing.

How can you follow a guy that says he's the son of God,
and cant "back it up".This was one of his ways of" backing it
    up."

Before becasue he died (at least the first time) before Jesus. So by your argument, you are saying that there is an old hope? What happens to all those faithful before Christ?

You are correct on the reason he resurrected Lazarus.
