With the increase of Memorial partakers and the "new light" on "overlapping generations", there is no danger of the Governing Body becoming extinct. I daresay they'll be able to fill the positions of dying members, perhaps even expand the number (when originally constituted back in 1976, the Governing Body numbered eighteen men) until mid-century. That's assuming the WTS will still be a going concern by then.
