Would the Japanese have used a nuke on the Allied nations if it had the chance?? Too right!

I have seen the thousands of graves of Allied soldiers (POWS) in SE Asia who were systematically murdered by the Japanese. One of my relatives had his legs hacked off at the knees with a samurai sword because he was tall and stood over the commanding officer.

    No apology

Nope, for several reasons. If they had not dropped the bombs, US would have invaded and a LOT more people would have died.

Anybody who says that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were just "civilian cities"are wrong. There were military bases there plus they were industrial cities with a lot of emphasis put on military manufacturing.

    :Should America Apologize For Hiroshima?

This question is so revolting it is unworthy of an answer.

    Disgusting.

No. Why would you ask? Asia is just attacking America in a different way now. Economically.

Has Japan ever apologized for attacking Pearl Harbor?

Prodigal, your sources don't address the atrocities that Japan committed in the countries it occupied. Further, one suggests that China benefitted from the occupation.

FDR did not want a war with Japan. He wanted to stop Germany first. The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor would have wrecked his plans except that Hitler was so stupid he declared war on us. Read "Roosevelt's Secret War" by Joseph Persico.
