iris de ment - let the mystery be

Everybody's wonderin' what and where they all came from.
Everybody's worryin' 'bout where they're gonna go when the whole thing's done.
But no one knows for certain and so it's all the same to me.
I think I'll just let the mystery be.

Some say once you're gone you're gone forever, and some say you're gonna come back.
Some say you rest in the arms of the Saviour if in sinful ways you lack.
Some say that they're comin' back in a garden, bunch of carrots and little sweet peas.
I think I'll just let the mystery be.

Everybody's wonderin' what and where they all came from.
Everybody's worryin' 'bout where they're gonna go when the whole thing's done.
But no one knows for certain and so it's all the same to me.
I think I'll just let the mystery be.

Some say they're goin' to a place called Glory and I ain't saying it ain't a fact.
But I've heard that I'm on the road to purgatory and I don't like the sound of that.
Well, I believe in love and I live my life accordingly.
But I choose to let the mystery be.

Everybody's wonderin' what and where they all came from.
Everybody's worryin' 'bout where they're gonna go when the whole thing's done.
But no one knows for certain and so it's all the same to me.
I think I'll just let the mystery be.

I saw this on Mike Huckabee on Fox. It is a new band called Riverbilly. The song" Like Father Like Son". If you like this song, please go to their dot com and download the single. Proceeds go to raising awarness for domestic viloence. I cried all the way through the song. These guys have a great future. If you are on Facebook with me it is on my profile.

The video won't post for some reason. It is at Mike Huckabee-fox news-they did the song on stage live.

L.A.'s fine, the sun shines most the time
and the feeling is lay back
Palm trees grow and rents are low
but you know I keep thinkin' 'bout
    Making my way back

Well I'm New York City born and raised
but nowadays I'm lost between two shores
L.A.'s fine, but it ain't home
New York's home, but it ain't mine no more

    "I am," I said
    to no one there
And no one heard at all
    not even the chair
    "I am," I cried
    "I am," said I
And I am lost, and I can't even say why
    Leavin' me lonely still

Did you ever read about a frog who dreamed of bein' a king
    and then became one?
Well except for the names and a few other changes
if you talk about me, the story's the same one

But I've got an emptiness deep inside
and I've tried, but it won't let me go
And I'm not a man who likes to swear,
but I never cared for the sound of being alone

    "I am," I said
    to no one there
And no one heard at all,
    not even the chair
    "I am," I cried
    "I am," said I
And I am lost, and I can't even say why "I am," I said "I am," I cried "I am"
