Guys, i have a little time and I wanted some advice. I really like to be "good" and "super good" in everything I ever do. I am kinda "perfectionist". When I was a witness I was "good " at it, you know...I did all they wanted- until one day...

So, I was just called the NAME "apostate" by my sister. She wrote me a nasty letter calling me demonized apostate... Since this is what I am now, can you guys help me to be really "good apostate"?? I want to be really GOOD at it- do you know what I mean?

So how can I be greatest apostate ever born? Any advice?

    Thanks.

Tell them you wrote a couple of books under the name of "Ray Franz."

Seriously, I'm really sorry to hear of another example of the WTS ruining family relationships.

You have some really great role models out there, and there are a lot of directions you could take your apostasy.

Raymond Franz, the resigned Governing Body member who turned apostate, wrote two excellent books, one about his experiences while in the Borganization and one that was more of a doctrinal analysis.

Barbara Anderson helped Bill Bowen expose the Watchtower pedophile coverup and appeared on NBC's Dateline, and continues to expose the Watchtower further both in the USA and abroad. Bill Bowen still maintains the silentlambs website, though he has had some health and financial issues of late and the site doesn't appear well updated.

Randy Watters wrote some really good booklets and articles and hosts the freeminds website. Lots of great apostate articles and blogs there.

Paul Grundy has created perhaps the best blow-by-blow doctrinal and procedural ass-whooping the Watchtower Society has ever faced on his jwfacts website.

Tim Kilgore does personal youtube videos that address various wrong JW beliefs and actions, as does CStheapostate.

Kyria Abrahams wrote a memoir that brought back a lot of memories of growing up as a JW. She kind of goes off the reservation as a teenager and young adult but apparently has it all together today from what I can gather.

Don Cameron wrote a great book, Captives of a Concept, that details why and how the 1914 enthronement of Jesus doctrine holds 7 million Dubs captive to the Borganization. (this is a great oversimplification of a great book but I'm trying to be concise)

I'm sure I'm missing many others from the Apostate Hall of Fame. "Watchtower Comments" also comes to mind but I don't know who he actually is; I only know he does great videos.

There are also a couple movies being made (and already made) about JWs and ex-JWs. Unfortunately I haven't seen any of them yet.

So you have many options: publishing, web publishing, video making, or you could take the lead on the new Anti-Watchtower Billboards across North America project that everyone seems to love but nobody seems to want to head up. Posting here, studying Franz, Grundy, Cameron, Watters, reading Steve Hassan's "Combatting Cult Mind Control", and never setting foot in a Kingdom Hall or out in service again are all important early steps to becoming a Super Apostate.

Good luck to you in your apostate endeavors!

All you have to do is think for yourself and the Witnesses think you're demonized.

Apostasy from the Watchtower is an honor. Wear it proudly!

Tell her that before she can claim to have the moral high ground to look down on you from, she should be able to prove to you, (not bully, prove) that Jesus selected the Watchtower in 1919, because if she can't, she is being an obnoxious little sh!t for no good reason.

Then give her a hard time for not proving it. Guilt her, big time. Make her do the whole king list thing to prove her 1914/1919.

Don't discuss any other religious topic. Just target that claim of selection. Turn her into an Apostate too....... then she can really call you an Apostate.

As your circumstances permit, build a good collection of "Old Light" publications. The WATCHTOWER is best hoisted on its own petard.

For amusement, familiarize yourself with the works of H. P. Lovecraft and The Church Of The Subgenius, as well as the Flying Spaghetti Monster (may you be touched by his noodly appendage! Selah.)

Get a deck of Tarot cards and keep them on your coffeetable. You don't need to learn how to "work" them - they're only "spiritual props." Same for a OuiJa Board.

Yes, I take my own advice. All that and more. I'm quite bad in the eyes of the WTB&TS, you know. ...and I couldn't care less.

Celebrate birthdays, Christmas and formally attend as many religious services as you like. Have crucifixes, tarot cards and other objects of spiritist nature in your house. Watch Internet porn. Visit apostate forums and sites. Have oral sex with your wife/girlfriend. Fondle her breasts. Listen any form of metal-music. Watch horror movies. Buy lottery tickets. Donate blood. Teach others how poisonous is the Wanktower doctrine.
