HaHa!
I tell you, tequila is dangerous! The first time I got truly sloppy drunk was when I was out with a bunch of coworkers. Somebody paid for a huge trayful of tequila shots. One minute I was asking "where's the salt" the next thing I knew I was waking up in my bed.
I need a margarita right now!

I don't drink tequila ( anymore ) without some kind of adult supervision.

Palmtree, I'm glad I had adult supervision that night! I woke up in my bed (alone, thank god) having been safely driven home by one of my work buddies. Had I not had supervision, I'd probably have a kid right now.

Cheap tequila is awful, but some nice smooth stuff is very enticing. I am a wine drinker myself, but a shot of some of the hard stuff once in a while always is nice.

So funny... the joke (thanks, Chickie, and peace to you all!)... and my "tequila" memories. Used to love it... straight, lemon, little salt. Now, can't drink it at all, anymore. Can't even stand the smell. System rejects it like a tainted liver. And never could do Margaritas... no matter HOW delicious they looked... 'cause I never could do mixed drinks (okay, the occasional Tom Collins when I was just past my teens and trying to be all "cosmopolitan", but that was very short-lived).
Now, it's either straight (when I do)... or nada. Primarily Merlot. Otherwise, I'm praying to the porcelain god at 2am. Even if I drank it at 1:45am. Husband didn't believe me once, when we were early in the relationship and I said I couldn't (got nauseated even thinking of a Margarita). But he insisted and bought me an oh so delicious-looking "blended" dealie. Took three sips and told him he had to finish it (gag!). He thought I was being dramatic... until I was hugging the toilet at... you guessed it... 2am. Now, when others offer, HE tells them right away, "Oh, no, she can't drink those." Rachafracharachafracha I had to almost lose a lung for him to believe me...
But peace to you... and remember: DO NOT drink... and drive... or operate heavy machinery... or go home with strangers (I mean, unless you know them, of course)... and do yourself a favor and STOP when you should/need to.
SA, on her own...
