They could tie it into the Samaritan woman. The "belongings" don't need to be fed more than the crumbs that fall off the table from the "domestics" getting their food.

I've always thought it funny the way Xians romanticized the loving/caring relationship between a shepherd and his flock, as if not realizing that the shepherd is not raising them as his fluffy soft pets, but for their meat! You'd think being called a sheep would be a BIG HINT, but apparently not...

The Governing Body are now very, very rich as the belongings include material possessions (such as kingdom halls).
Funny really, the (F&DS)GB may think they are spiritually feeding the R&F but now the R&F can say they are physically feeding and providing for the (F&DS)GB but that wasn't in the parable.
