Yes. I converted to non-Christianity after the JWs and then years later renewed my baptism.

No True Scotsman fallacy? I've seen that one used by both sides when faced with someone having a change of views.
We have an obligation to condemn the use of this fallacy, no matter who uses it, right?
I agree with what you said on another thread:
I don't consider myself unread or ignorant, and I've wrestled with the same issues for quite some time, and come to different ideas. I think intelligent, reasoning people can come to different conclusions based on the same information.
I can respect the decisions of others. I can only hope that others will do the same for me, if at all possible. I'm also open to hearing criticism of my cherished beliefs. Having exited the WT, I'm all too familiar with just how WRONG I can be, while being absolutely convinced that I'm RIGHT.
