Is God so small?

If a grieving Muslim prays to her God, does he refuse to listen? Does God refuse to provide comfort because she did not say Yahweh?

If a person who believes in God calls him/her "Allah", does God turn his back like a petulant child?

    How small is God?

As long as people talk about god or gods, they are on low level stuff, small stuff. The true source of all is unnamable, unfathomable.

I'll go you one better: What kind of infinite deity would limit theirselves to being worshiped or destroy what he put in place? Namely....thought. He supposedly doesn't want robots or equivalant of yet in order for his new system of things to survive he would have to deny us some amount of thought and desire or else he'd run the risk of the new system relasping into the old system.

If you pray with the idea that YOU are part of the whole of the universe, which is made of "God" stuff, and that you, in past lives have ALREADY EARNED what you are praying for, then "God" (the Universe) will react and deliver to you what's rightfully yours. It's all about INTENT. That's why Jesus used the illustration that if you have "faith the size of a mustard grain", which is more than just belief, it is actually KNOWING, that this is true, and all it needs only that SMALL amount of pure intent....and whatever you intend will become reality. The idea of a "Daddy" God to protect us and give us what we ask for is all warm and fuzzy and nice, but if we don't realize our Oneness with him then we are trapped in the illusion of separation and we have no power at all.

Yes. And, it's a two edged sword. It's not just words, it comes from our subconscious. If we are subconscously seld destructive, negative, or self defeatist, then that trumps any words we may say. Carl jungs collective unconscious idea at work. I call it the collective subconscious. On the subconscious level, we are all connected and communicate, continuously. The human is our primary connection, but it extends to the animal, plant, mineral and, as you say, ultimately, the universe. Pantheism is part of it.

Most moderate Christians would not say, nor do they believe, that a sincere man or woman who prays to God is not heard merely because the name of their God is different than theirs or their beliefs are too off the mark etc. Focusing on the fundies leaves out the majority of Christians who, while not as loud and bad mouthed as some fundies are, do exist and in truth are the backbone of Christianity.

Perhaps this question was posed under the misbelief that JWs believe this. They do not.

JWs, like all Christians, recognize that the only absolute requirement for prayer is faith, which implies humility and persistence (see (Luke 11:5-13; 18:1-14).

JWs believe that a prayerful person of faith will eventually, somehow, receive Bible knowledge through the action of holy spirit and angelic direction, including knowledge about Christ and about Christian principles. At that point, the Bible teaches that certain human actions and willful inactions can block prayer.

(Proverbs 15:29) Jehovah is far away from the wicked ones, but the prayer of the righteous ones he hears.
(Proverbs 28:9) He that is turning his ear away from hearing the law—even his prayer is something detestable.
(Isaiah 1:15) Even though you make many prayers, I [God] am not listening
(Micah 3:4) At that time they will call to Jehovah for aid, but he will not answer them. And he will conceal his face from them

For example, the Bible says the following about a husband who doesn't respect his wife...

(1 Peter 3:7) You husbands, continue dwelling in like manner with [your wives] according to knowledge...in order for your prayers not to be hindered.
