I just like free stuff/samples.
Do you give out free stuff where you work at?

Do you always mention this to your series of short term girlfriends?

Not sure why but this bothers me. Too much personal information could be exposed.

Beware the "freestuff". There is usually some marketing research that you will have to provide. Some companies will give you a new free product to try for a month, but then they want your phone number and address on the pretext of calling you about it in a month to see if it worked or how you liked it.
I remember years ago, there was a company giving out a new bug spray that was supposed to have some birth control type chemical in it for roaches. My friend would not take the free offer and used the excuse "I'm Catholic and don't believe in birth control" (even for bugs!!!)
Anyway, I think some of it is for test market and to get people's reactions.
I don't like the big brother aspect of it with marketing agencies having my personal info or location. Because then you start getting a lot of junk mail, soliciting phone calls and spam email. You never know where it comes from or how they got your name, but a lot of these free things where you have to give your info have "adhesions" on them...and your info is shared with other companies who send the junk mail and phone calls.

www.freestufftimes.com is a pretty good website, it is not spammy like you think. I have used that website everyday for maybe a year. I get alots of free stuff in the mail. I like it. I just want some more.

What are some of the things you have gotton? Coupons? Products? Do they ever ask for your opinion on the stuff they send you?

I don't go for free stuff in grocery stores. They must think we are all really dumb.
For instance, if I go to XXXX store they have "Buy One/Get one FREE". Potato chips are $5.oo for the first bag, the second is free.
But if you go over to XXXXXX store they are having a "HALF PRICE" sale. Potato chips are $2.50 for a bag.
So what's the damn difference?
And people at both stores walk out thinking they got a deal. Go figure.
