I watched this earlier today. It is heart breaking to see how quickly he is deteriorating.

"Well, the other [anti-smoking ads] tend to be over strident." Still has his sense of humor...!

For those of us that can't see or hear youtube at work, what does he say?

He says he was wrong all along and has now accepted Jesus as his saviour.

    Only kidding.

He says he won't do that.

    LMAO !!

Well, I don't think that illness shoudl drive anyone to accept Jesus, though it seems it does for some, as it also does the reverse in other cases.

Cooper asks Hitch if he'll pray on his deathbed.

"There might be a moment where you, you know, want to hedge your bets."

    Is this a relevant question?

Or is this an exploitation of a sick, dying man?

Tyrell: Would you... like to be upgraded?

Batty: I had in mind something a little more radical.

Tyrell: What... what seems to be the problem?

    Batty: Death.

Tyrell: Death; ah, well that's a little out of my jurisdiction. You...

Batty: I want more life, fucker....

Tyrell: The facts of life....... but this, all of this is academic. You were made as well as we could make you.

    Batty: But not to last.

Tyrell: The light that burns twice as bright burns for half as long - and you have burned so very, very brightly, Roy. Look at you: you're the Prodigal Son; you're quite a prize!

    Batty: I've done... questionable things.

Tyrell: Also extraordinary things; revel in your time.

Batty: Nothing the God of biomechanics wouldn't let you into heaven for.

"Safe upon the solid rock the ugly houses stand"

"Come and see my shining palace, built upon the sand."
