Who represents Jehovah on earth today?
It is common knowledge today, that the Pope claims to be the "Vicar or representative of the Christ." "Almighty God on earth!" "The judge of heaven and earth." While the Governing Body of the Watchtower Society claims to be "God's Visible Spirit Directed Organization." "The faithful Slave." "The Anointed Brothers of Christ." The Mormon Church also makes such a lofty claim. Can they all at one and the same time be correct? Religious Christendom also professes to be the one true Religion as well.
So, here we have four Religious Organizations all vying for the same position. Are all of them the ones Jesus foretold would be worshipping the Father in Spirit and in Truth? Just who was it that was foretold to have the work of witnessing to Jesus during the sign of the coming of Christ? Of course the Pope claims that they are. The Governing Body of the Watchtower Society claims they are. The Mormon Church claims they are. Religious Christendom that they are.
While all of these high and lofty claims are made by these Organizations, no one really gets all that exited over them, they are all accepted as a matter of course, with little adeau over it. What would be the attitude displayed though, was one of the true anointed class to come on the scene, claiming these offices for himself? One of the ones who really was appointed by Jehovah God? Just how would he be received? Would he be welcomed with opened arms, as the previouse four obviously are? Was the Christ? Were his Apostles? The ones who really did worship in Spirit and in Truth in the first Century?
The Truth of the matter is, none of the True Anointed Brothers would even take the positions that are now occupied by the empire of Religious Christendom. The True Anointed class would know better than to to do that. They would know that to do that would be violating a command given to them by Jesus. They were not to bestow worshipful honors on one another, as though one was higher in station than the other. They were all to humbly submit themselves to the lead and teachings of their one leader. Who himself was deserving of all honor, but never even himself took any lofty position of honor; and who would be more deserving than the Christ, of the greatest honor; and yet he never took any to himself?
25"Jesus called them together and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." {Matthew 20:25-28 NIV}
8"But don’t make others call you Rabbi, because you have only one teacher, and you are all followers. 9 And don’t call anyone on earth your father, because you have only one Father, and he is in heaven. 10 Don’t make others call you a leader, because you have only one leader, the Messiah. 11The person who is greatest among you will be your servant. 12 Whoever honors himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be honored." {Matthew 23:8-12 GWT}
In being all merely followers, none was greater than the other, none lesser, but all equal in station. With the Christ the one leader and one teacher. Guiding and directing them all. All humbly submissive to him.
You would find none of these bearing titles such as Reverend, Right Reverend, Most Reverend; Father, Holy Father, Most Holy Father. His eminence. They of course would know, as Jesus had told them, "Only One is your Father, the Heavenly one." They would never have dared to exalt themselves to such self honoring titles, that belonged to Jehovah alone, when they knew the Christ had told them whoever honors himself will be humbled, while conversely those that humbled themselves would be honored. Neither would they take the positions as the one leader and one teacher, for they would know those positions belonged only to the Christ. We know they were on the scene in the first Century, worshipping in Spirit and in truth, and Jesus had told the Samaritan Woman at the Well-Side that, that kind of Worship would be coming again at a future time. The question is, where are these Worshippers now, since Jesus foretold they would be on the scene during the time the sign of his coming was in evidence? {John 4:19-24}
How did Jesus show us that they would be on the scene, while the sign of his coming was going on, and how does the Bible show we should not be looking for Jehovah to have a visible Organization on earth at this time?
What most do not realize today, is the New Covenant not only changed the Law and the priesthood, it also changed earthly Mount Zion to Heavenly Mount Zion. It changed earthly Jerusalem to Heavenly New Jerusalem. So God's Organization was no longer a visible Organization on earth, but was now in the Heavens where the Christ was seated at the right hand of his Father, controled now from the Heavenly Spirit Realm, by Holy Spirit. {Acts 2:33} An examination of the following scriptures will show this is so: {Hebrews 7:12;12:18-24} {Revelation 3:12; 14:1;21:2,10} So, today, we do not look for the Chosen Ones to be an Organized Religion on this earth. That would be the main principle reason these Chosen Ones could not be misled by an earthly Organization Professing to be God's Visible Organization on earth, because of their advanced knowledged they would know better to even listen to suchlike ones as these. Knowing themselves God's Organization was now a Heavenly One. No longer an earthly one. This of course revealed by the Holy Spirit to them. {John 14:26;16:13} {1 John 2:27} {1 Corinthians 2:10}
24 "For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will give great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones." {Matthew 24:24 NWT} We see it wasn't possible to mislead them as Jesus pointed out.
Note here Jesus was telling us that one Religious Body would possess enough Scriptural Knowledge to mislead if possible even the Chosen Ones. Of course it wouldn't be possible to mislead the Chosen Ones, but many Millions from among Mankind would be an easy target to mislead. Evidenced by the Seven Million followers of the Watchtower Society now going door-to-door throughout the entire inhabited earth under the guidance and direction of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses. Who themselves look for all the World to be the one true Religion. This is why they might possibly mislead even the Chosen Ones. Preaching this Good News of the Kingdom as they do. Which, by the way, was not the message the Chosen ones would be found doing. The message looks very similar, but is quite different. The actual true message was anything but good news for this World. In fact the Worse news they could ever hear. News they didn't even want to listen to, or hear spoken. News they would fight against, and arouse their great anger, so they would persecute, jail, and kill, those delivering it, as Jesus had foretold they would, in the following words:
9 "Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers." {Matthew 24:9 NLT}
Notice Jesus didn't say they'd be hated for following any of the Religions of this World. It was because they were his followers. His true followers would have had nothing to do with the Religions of this World. They would have shunned them like the plague. The reason being they were all a divided Spiritual mess, and so many of them, to find anything any good at all would have been like looking for a needle in a Haystack. As evidence by the following excerpt:
"According to David B. Barrett, the researcher who compiles religious population estimates for the Encyclopaedia Britannica and World Almanac, there are about 10,000 distinct religions in the world today." How does that harmonize with the words of the Apostle Paul in the following? It actually doesn't! The Christ never formed 10,000 distint Religions. One! Means ONE! Not 10,000.
"One body there is, and one spirit, even as YOU were called in the one hope to which YOU were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all [persons], who is over all and through all and in all. "{Ephesians 4:4-6 NWT}
Paul explains their problem in these next words of his:
2 "For we have had the good news declared to us also, even as they also had; but the word which was heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who did hear." {Hebrews 4:2 NWT}
Religious Christendom is not united by faith, with those who do worship in Spirit and in Truth. With those who really do hear the good news and understand the message spoken, about the glorious exalted preeminent position of the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ now; seated as he is since the first century at the right hand of his Father in the heavenly spirit realm, already wearing his Crown, as a world conquerer. {Revelation 3:21} {John 16:33;17:4} That is the good news those worshipping in spirit and in truth should be preaching now. {2 Corinthians 4:3,4} When he moves as ruling king that will be bad news for this entire World. Very bad! {Matthew 24:29-31} {Revelation 1:7;12:10,12} {Psalm 110:1,2}
Paul showed that the position Jesus now held, holds now, that his Father has 'exalted him to a superior position, given him the name that is above every other name, so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and those on the earth and those under the ground, and every tongue should openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:5-11}
So every Religious Leader on this earth now should be on their faces to the ground, bowing to the majesty of the Christ. Along with everyone else on this earth alive now, if they are not what are their chances of continiued life? Slim! Or none!
As to where exactly these Chosen are. Matthew tells us that when the are gathered by the Christ, they are gathered by the Christ at his coming they are gathered from the four winds, from one extremity of the heavens to the other extremity." So right now they are scattered all over this earth, and no one knows who they are, or where exatly they are. But the Christ and his Angels will know come time to gather them all. {Matthew 24:29-31}
How many of them are there? No one knows that either; except to say they are few in number, according to John's Revelation when satan is thrown down:
17 "And the dragon grew wrathful at the woman, and went off to wage war with the remaining ones of her seed, who observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness to Jesus." {Revelation 12:17 NWT}
These are the ones with the true preaching message. A work of informing the World about the High and Lofty Position now of the Christ. Something satan does want this World to know; that is why he is at War with them when thrown down.
John also informs us of a final sealing of these ones just prior to the outbreak of the great tribulation in these words:
1 "After this I saw four angels standing upon the four corners of the earth, holding tight the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow upon the earth or upon the sea or upon any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the sunrising, having a seal of [the] living God; and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3 saying: "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until after we have sealed the slaves of our God in their foreheads."{Revelation 7:1-4 NWT}
Those four winds are four winds of destruction. When those four Angels release those four winds, the sealing work will have ended the great tribulation will follow. So the Heavenly Call is not even completed yet. Whoever they are, they are still being sealed for that high office. But remaining ones or remnant, means only a few. How Few? Who can say? The same is true with the separating work between the sheep and the goats. All we know for sure is Jesus said only a few were on the road to life. {Matthew 7:13,14} No one knows, or could know, just how few that will be. Matthew 25:31-46} In either case! Am I one? Are you? I think our work will be the deciding factor, but even then, how can anyone be absolutely certain?
If I had my choice of which Organization I'd associate with, It would be none of the Ten Thousand. I'd opt out for the Heavenly One. Those worshipping in Spirit and in Truth. Reason being! It's in Heaven the Holy Spirit resides in the hands of the Christ. That would be the only way one could worship in spirit and in truth. Because the Holy Spirit is the Truth, so said John, and Jesus is the way of the Truth, and he resides in the invisible Heavens. {1 John 5:6} {John `14:6} {Acts 2:33}
Let's all head on up there, and be taught the truth by the only one who can teach it. The whole truth of the matter is, Jehovah is only looking for those ones who will worship him in spirit and in truth. {John 4:6-24} Only those ones individually will represent Jehovah on earth today. Wherever they may be located. Wannabe
