belbab, thanks that would be appropriate,, after all this site had the highest posting on this site previously about Jaracz's stroke,, I would hope that we could come up with a higher posting for Ray Franz.

Without a doubt he is the author of the most important work in history about Jehovah's Witnesses, he was a man I looked up to and am deeply saddened that he is gone.

No official word, but there's no brain activity and without life support to sustain him there's very little chance he'll recover.

Once again, wikipedia is reporting that he has passed. This time however they have noted that he had a massive stroke and that his wife Cynthia has had him removed from life support. My thoughts and prayers are with them both. MM

Ray died at 1:37 PM Eastern time today. He requested in his will: no life support, no burial but rather cremation, and no funeral. Cynthia is surrounded by long-term friends.
I will keep you all up to date on freeminds.org as news comes in.
