    yknot,

I'll give it a try. Sometimes, I find it hard to hold back when I see B.S. or programmed responses. She really thinks that I have no belief system simply because I do not readily drink her or any other religion's kool-aid without checking all things. I even tell her how I can see some things their (the Watchtower's) way but that is not good enough. Typical Jehovah's Witness programmed response.

She thinks all people who leave the religion do it for selfish reasons. The religious leaders of the Society are good researchers. It is so sad how mentally programmed she is and she does not even know it.

    but there is hope.......

I woke up ..........granted it was after 12 years of marriage

Don't try to challenge directly so much as asking questions?

Like: why do you believe this is true?

Well I always understood this to mean, so what is the reason the Org interprets it differently?

Also use every freaking 'in' the WTS offers.........

    Use this week's KM!

    Use the 'Generation'!!!!

Just make sure you ask more questions than you make statements.

I wonder how many of those divorced jw women are clinging to the excitement of the meetings and assemblies, because they aren't permitted to remarry after divorcing a wife beating jw husband.
