I just found a site for Jah Jireh care homes for elderly JWs. ( www. jah-jireh.org )

I didn't know this existed! The site has life stories of some of the elderly residents. Of course, there's also a donation facility on the home page in bold type if any of us want to contribute.

Yes there is a Jah Jireh home in Mertyr Wales just a few miles from where my mum and dad live.

They go often there visiting.....It does seem like a nice place for old JW's

I have no beef with the concept, I just wish that more older JW's were looked after.

There is one in Beamsville, Ontario, Canada as well. They mention that they have been operating for 24 years in England at the Ontario website. Here is the link: http://www.jah-jireh.on.ca/

Hmmm. It sounds great all the time that the residents want to pursue the dub way of life. I suppose at that time of life it is unlikely that they would want to change, but???

What if one of the residents gets d/f'd (yes, it can happen in old age- think smoking , slander, even sex or porn....) do they turn the resident out? I note that they say they are to care for Witnesses only.

.What if one of the inmates asked to be taken church instead?? As I understand British law these days, firms are not allowed to discriminate - or have they an exception?

I`d have to agree with BB..

It would probably be a great place to live if you were a JW..

Until you broke a WBT$ rule..
