At the bookstore I've culled all the End Times books into a two shelf area as a display.
There are some really funny ones. Bad funny. There are ridiculous ones, maddening ones, stupid ones, scholarly ones and even
thoughtful and serious ones debunking End Times.
I watch for who shops this section. So far, it seems to be the sort of person who believes in UFO kidnappings, consults their horoscope and thinks Obama is a Muslim.
I love putting the really out-of-date prediction books there which have self-debunked. One of my favorites is so much fun to spot read how it all comes together and "proves" the year 2000 will be the end!
Hal Lindsey was made a rich man with his various incarnations of warmed over LATE GREAT PLANET EARTH scenarios that always went awry and were re-adjusted in time for the next printing.
