I'm the soldier... until I start snoring and my wife rolls me over to the log position. Ultimately, the soldier will prevail again and she will get pissed. That's okay, though, because I am completely unaware... sleeping, well, like a log.

I once had eye surgery that required I lay on my left side for 5 days. That was torture.
I go to sleep in the fetal position, left or right side, but I must have a pillow between my knees to be comfortable. When I awake during the night I'm usually in the starfish position.

I'm a fetus, free faller, and starfish. I'm not brash, whatever that means.

I find myself doing a sort of dance around. It's really weird.
I'm in one position then get tired of that and try another.
This post is starting to sound weird to me too. So okay,
mostly I'm the yearner, but freefaller and starfish are what
I wake up like. So I go to bed one way and wake up another.
I don't know what most of the night might be like except
sometimes I have to go pee. And when I do I'm so like a
zombie I don't know what position I wake up to.
