Why is it that the characters in the Convention Drama always have a kid called RANDY? He is always the good kid in the illustration and the elders always address him with "HI RANDY" in cowboy film accent.
He in England RANDY has sexual connotations and means LUSTFUL or PROMISCUOUS. Are kids actually called RANDY in the US?

I know four men named Randy. Three them, it's a nickname for Randall. One was named 'Randy' by his mom.
It's not a common nickname for young men in general, though.

'Are you Randy' just makes me think of Austin Powers. The name Randy exists of course. I suppose its not uncommon here in Canada.
