Still I'm a little disturbed by the thought that she is somehow special on account of being both smart and attractive.

If you list all the things Melissa Scott is you would hardly overlook the fact she is really lovely.

Her I.Q. is supposedly in the 180's. That turns me on more than how she looks!! Gawd I love smart women!!

But, the fact she isn't charismatic and doesn't have a slick TV preaching style has won my heart even more.

She might be boring as hell to talk to in person, but, I doubt it.

I thought I'd give everybody here a head's up on her since I was impressed. But, looking back over the various posts all I see (well, not ALL) is a readiness to believe the worst about her without any proof other than Internet assertions.

    Tsk Tsk.

She's a millionaire religious charlatan who surrounds herself with security and

is much a hide away recluse.

Forget about her Terry, you can do better.

Don't confuse 'preacher" with "teacher"...she is a teacher, who like her husband has the ability to make you think outside the box. This of course makes her a threat to sanctmonious bible thumpers, who only care for "blind" followers. Scott himself was consistent in telling you, if you don't like what I have to say change the chanel. He was an odd duck, yet you came away from his program with something to "think about", not how rosey prosey his sermon was. She has taken over leadership of that church and kept the legacey of his minestry alive and moving forward.

As to her "past life" who cares, it's dead and buried. What she was then is not what she is now. Besides, no matter what you think of, or belive about the bible it is, if anything, filled with stories of those who were moved to do God's work, kicking, screaming and protesting every step of the way. Many of whom were the most wicked and shamfull people who ever lived.

Gene Scott's death left the church with no leadership. I have no doubt she stepped on toes and over bodies to give leadership back to the church. Making many enimies along the way. Disgruntled entitlement bozos who thought they could do it better. Anyone who would use that idiot Voss to write a hit piece under the guise of "reporting the story" is entitled to do nothing more than sack grocerys at the local supermarket.

Mellisa Scott is like Gene Scott. You either learn from her teachings or find fault with her as a person. One thing for certain, shes here to stay.

At last! A constructive viewpoint! (Mainly because it agrees with my viewpoint. )

I've always thought she was pretty cool. I'm a raging insomniac, so I'm always up at 2 or 3 in the morning (can't remember which time she comes on in my area). I usually like watching her and do from time to time. And yes, she's attractive as well.

Everyone keeps having this debate over commercialism, but of course it's commercialized. She's on TV for a reason. But to me, that's not the point. Even if what she is saying may be wrong at times (and I'm not saying it is, just leaving room for human error and imperfection), it's nice to see someone who does bother to know or try to figure out what "that word" means in the bible. So many churches get hung up on doctrinal issues relating to the translation of a single word that it does matter what the original language said. I don't claim to be a Greek, Hebrew, or Aramaic scholar so I'm not sure if everything she is saying is accurate. But it's nice to see the way she picks things apart and tries to understand them.

And as for her past, pretty sure those pictures were faked. But even if they're real, Jesus was calling harlots and sinners to him during his whole ministry. If she abandoned that practice in favor of a life of faith, who are any of us to accuse or dredge that back up? "Let the one of YOU that is sinless be the first to throw a stone..." (John 8:7) Now if she's still doing porn while appearing on TV to preach, that's a different story entirely!

Solution: Just watch her with the sound turned off.

She found something better a multi-million dollar corporation that was left to her from her deceased husband.

He gained both celebrity status and wealth and she didn't have to remove her top or lay down with some guy.

If she was 40 years younger than her EX maybe that was the plan all along.

If that is true maybe she is a very smart woman !

Once again it shows that god truly provides.

Sure, Scott may have shown her tits to strangers, but that is no reason to blow her off as a pastor. After all, as hypocritical as it is for mega churches to pay mega dollars to mega pastors, she still has as much right to the claim of “Christian” as Palin, Bachmann, Billy Graham or Obama.

Having said that, have more pics of her neikeed?

When I saw her on TV even with captions on, there was something about her that didn't sit right with me, something within my spirit not to listen to her jib jab so I switched channels.

You can look like a Christian, sound like one, but it doesn't necessarily mean you are one.

There's a saying from a regular guy who loves Jesus and he said, "Going to church doesn't make you a Christian anymore than going to McDonalds makes you a hamburger."

And then he said, "Being a Christian is someone who is bananas for Jesus"

A commercialized Christian is not true Christian.

This symbol $ has nothing to do with Christ and his word !
