It was this thread (both the OP and the comments) that finally moved me to spend $15 bucks on an English translation of the Tao. (I had read 'about' it before and glanced at a couple websites but never had it in book form)
I'm amazed by its simplicity and complexity. And in the spirit of not trying, over the last few evenings, just before bed I've opened it up to a random page and read the passage there. I've never slept better.

This is the sort of thread that I enjoy most on this board, given where people have started from, vis-a-vis JWism. To see people snapping out of their mentally created world and step into this moment, free of everything, is very refreshing.
