"Hercules, Samson, and Ulysses" (Italian 1965)

In this catagory, nothing can touch it. This is the alltime worst movie EVER made that is SO BAD, you will be rolling on the floor begging for the TV to be turned off.

The plotline is ridiculous. The three famous super legends team up to fight the evil Philistines who just happen to be wearing Nazi helmuts. (Yes, they are that evil!)

There are dozens of absolutely stupid lines. Like when the Philistines were looking for Samson in a village, the commander tells his troops, "Be sure and look for dead lions in the rooms, he is known to kill them" Or Ulysses yelling out to Samson, "Watch out for Delilah, I don't trust that women!"

This is also a winner of worst special effects in a movie for the use of foam boulders. The fight scene between Samson and Hercules is classic. Sound effects when spears are thrown are as incredibl as how they magically somehow appear in warriors hands.

This film can be found in the TCM library of Movie Classics.

beksbks: sorry--I should have added that "Ed Wood" is about a guy that made bad movies. I liked "Ed Wood," too.

"Airplane!" doesn't count, either--it's too good.

Plan 9 From Outer Space (Ed Wood movie) has for over 30 years been consistently rated the worst sci-fi movie ever made. It wasn't made to be campy, it was just bad. Tragically, Ed Wood thought it was pretty darn good!

The movie "Ed Wood" was a true story of the man who made "Plan 9" and other terrible movies. It was a docudrama and it really wasn't funny. It was poignant and showed what a tragic kook Ed Wood really was.

GREAT movies like "Tremors", "The Attack of the Killer Tomatos", "The Little Shop of Horrors", "The Incredible Two-Headed Transplant" and "Lobster Man From Mars" were brilliantly written and executed. It takes incredible talent to make a movie that pretends to be serious sci-fi while at the same time tossing in-your-face spoofs of itself and keeping you rolling in the aisles.

It takes a no talent like an Ed Wood to make a pathetically bad movie, but it takes genuis to make a movie that is supposed to be horrible, but in fact, is delightfully funny and makes fun not only of itself but of the whole science fiction genre with a straight face.

Who will ever forget that "bunker scene" with the well-armed man and wife from "Tremors?" Priceless!

I was trying to find the part where Butch (Kevin Costner) takes Buzz Trick-or-treating and forces people to give him anything by showing his gun. Wish I knew someone like Butch when I was 10 or 11!

Has anyone saw this stinker? The acting was so bad that I kept thinking at any minute they're gonna break into some slapstick or maybe sing a song. I kept on watching because I didn't want to be a quitter and when it ended and I knew they were serious I felt a little sad.
