The Daily Mail and the Daily Express do not know shit.

Please stop quoting them - they are written for a specific audience which appreciate the crud that they write. What they publish does not in any way represent reality.

It's like putting your hand in a sewer to rescue a piece of undigested food and claiming that you have found nourishment.

    Now stop it.

    Besty,

You warned us two months ago (page 1 of this thread). We just didn't listen, did we?

Everything besty said. The Daily Mail is The Sun without the nipples.

Its main theme is that the world is going to hell in a hand basket and another Maggie Thatcher is our only hope.

We are in election season; it is even more rabid than usual

The Daily Mail and the Daily Express - better known as the Daily Wail and the Daily Excess. They really are a load of tripe. They are no better than the "redtops" and simply thinly disguise their nonsense with a very thin veneer of respectability.

I can probably remember this helpful hint.

It's good to have Brits on here. You're doing a nice job of keeping us abreast of the real news.

Agreed with besty about The Daily Mail and Express.

It is also worth noting that they are avowedly against the European Union, as is most UK press, and why? Europe is big enough to take these media organisations on, and does so, by means of competition legislation, which has been used in the past.

We are not yet on the brink of financial ruin. Greece's problems have been exacerbated by some financial, chicanery / alchemy by the investment bank Goldman Sachs. Deja Vu anyone?

Greece will be bailed out by Europe, then moan about it, but not recognise that it is that its own endemic corruption and subsequent financial mismanagement that caused it.

BTW last time I looked Scotland is part of Britain, ask besty.

LOL, yeah, how does that work? Does Sean Connery call himself a Brit?
