Anyone see this program last night on PBS? I don't know when it shows on BBC. In case you aren't familiar, three old geezers are brought back to the force to work cold case files. In last night's episode a black soldier was murdered in 1991.
Turns out his family was JW, and though there were lots of twists and turns to the plot along the way, bottom line was, they forgave him for joining the military (huh??) but when he came out to them as gay, the father murdered him.
The wife said after he did it he knew he lost his everlasting life and she would never forgive him, so he quit eating and drinking and killed himself that way (the father).
It was pretty good, acutally.
