Their primary doctrine is that Jesus selected them to be God's sole channel of communication in 1919.

If that is true, what should you do?

If that is false, what should you do? or maybe more importantly, what should you not do?

    Is it true?

    Cheers

    Chris

well, that makes me think of the Wheat & the Weeds illustration. It says that in the end, they will look alike and that Jesus would be the one to determine who were the wheat and who were the weeds. So, I guess we will have to wait and see. hmmm....

Just an update on this - the Feb 15th 2010 Watchtower makes it clear that the WTS policy is that a JW cannot retrospectively claim that a baptism was invalid , regardless of the circumstances. Elders are not required to determine whether or not the individual was fully aware of what they were doing - the presumption is made that as the individual went through the questions , answered affirmitively to the questions at the assembly (including the organisation one) , changed & were baptised that they knew what they were doing and can therefore be treated judicially.
