    Interesting that many of the cards you received mentioned the resurrection hope 'soon' so quickly after 1975....

    I think the resurrection hope may be a significant factor in an overall package.

    It seems to me that she would need to see other flaws in the theology before getting to this one.

    So very sorry for your loss.... I just can't imagine what you have been through!

    That very well may be the reason. I had a friend that left and then her husband was killed in a motorcycle accident and she went right back and got reinstated simply for the resurrection hope.

    My Mother talks about when she will see her husband again when he is resurrected, She has so many things to say to him. I think this was one of her main appeals for becoming a JW.

    Now that her son has died as well, I can only imagine how much more she puts into the hope of him being resurrected as well.

    Sorry for you loss, but I can clearly see why your wife would hold on to the JW religion.
