These banks that fail made terrible business decisions without proper collateral.
They know the taxpayers will have to make good because of the Government's stepping in and insuring up to---what is it now? One Hundred thousand per depositor?
If you keep more than that in one bank you lose.
The real culprit is the FEDERAL RESERVE which is not a branch of Government. It is private bankers outside of Government control who make decisions kept secret. They print money out of thin air.
