I love music. When I was a kid, I had hundreds of cassettes where I taped all my favorite songs.

Some songs would give me the chills. Some would be so good, I'd replay them over and over again! Some just would make you feel happy!

A few songs I love(d)....The Spiral Staircases's I Love You More Today Than Yesterday. That song plays on my oldies station nearly everyday.

James Brown's Get Up Off Of Thing, a classic JB song that you can't help but dance to.

Frank Sinatra's I've Got You Under My Skin never gets boring.

Love Me 2 Times by the Doors is one of my favorite Door's songs. Love that guitar!

    What songs do you love?

There are a bunch of songs that I have as my usual work music, which I can play nonstop all day and not get tired of and which put me in the right state of mind. They create sonic textures and landscapes that when on repeat have a rhythm of their own, and which oddly I never get tired of.

    There include:

"How Soon Is Now" by The Smiths

"Running Up That Hill" by Kate Bush

    "Starpower" by Sonic Youth

    "Clean" by Depeche Mode

"Come As You Are" by Nirvana

    "Crush" by Smashing Pumpkins

    "Ocean" by Lush

    "Black Metallic" by Catherine Wheel

    "Sometimes" by My Bloody Valentine

    "Weeping Willow" by The Verve

    "E-Bow the Letter" by R.E.M.

"Halcyon + On + On" by Orbital

"Re-Arranged" by Limp Bizkit (weird I know, but it is a good tune)

"Falling Away From Me" by Korn

    "Erase/Rewind" by The Cardigans

    "One" by Hooverphonic

"Sleeping With the Ghosts" by Placebo

    "Hustle Rose" by Metric

    "Blurry" by Puddle of Mudd

    "Lazy Eye" by Silversun Pickups

"Snow" by Red Hot Chili Peppers

"Songs That We Sing" by Catherine Gainsbourg

"You're A Wolf" by Sea Wolf

"Pioneer to the Falls" by Interpol

    "Wet and Rusting" by Menomena

"Our Favourite Target" by Tiki Taane

This song doesnt really put me in a good mood (or bad mood for that matter) but it does stregthen my resolve in my new found info about the WT.

It's called Shed Some Light by a band called Shinedown, the lyrics are very appropriate as you can see.

    I'm falling apart again
And I can't find a way to make amends
And I'm looking in both directions
But it's make believe, it's all pretend

    So...
    Shed some light on me
And hold me up in disbelief
And shed some light on me
And tell me something that I'll believe in

    It's innocence within the maze
But I have chosen the wrong way
I'm still getting over who I was
There's no sense of trust, there's no definition of love

    So...
    Shed some light on me
And hold me up in disbelief
And shed some light on me
And tell me something that I'll believe in

I know now, it's not who you are
    It's who you know
And I see clearly now, which way to go
I remember the way I fell from above
And I recall the way I was

    So...
    Shed some light on me
And hold me up in disbelief
And shed some light on me
And tell me something that I'll believe in
    Shed some ling on me
And hold me up in disbelief
And shed some light on me
And tell me something that I'll believe
    Tell me something that I'll...
Tell me something that I'll believe
Tell me something that I'll believe
    Something I'll believe

Oddly enough, it's songs that have a real desolate or somber sound that make me feel really good.

    Leo, that is odd.

    Nothing sounds "happy".
