    Marvin and Quitelyleaving,

I was under the misunderstanding that the original Quote of Barbara's was applicable to the US only, I am sorry for the confusion that caused.

I understand what was being said, it seems that I missed Marvin's post that Quietlyleaving has quoted above, for that I also apologise.

Good discussion. I just wanted to say I think " Pandora's box " is going to be a very big part of the WT society and Jehovah's Witnesses organization in the next 15 years or so. I have a feeling lots of information will be exposed to the public that the GB doesn't want to have exposed to the media. Bring it on is all I can say. It's about time

I just wanted to say that, after reading the thread "Wicked WT" where the picture of the awake magazine from 1994 showing the faces of dead children that died because "they" refused blood, brougth this issue to the forefront with me.

In the past I have been very "liberal" with the blood issue, it seems that part of me didn't want to see this, probably because my familiy is JW and they are "guilty by association" in regards to these atrocities.

Well, never again will I allow that to past.

Even one lost is far too many. How this, a so-called "religious" organization, could have ever published that totally pornographic child abuse Awake is beyond any kind of human thinking.

Let's put it this way - if a devout orthodox Jew was left starving on a remote island, and there was only a pig to eat - would God forgive him for sustaining his life even if it meant breaking a dietary vow? Even the catholic church has proclaimed that cannibalism in the most extreme survival situation is to be forgiven.

I hardly think any rabbi, priest, bishop, or pope would deny these simple facts of life and forgiveness.

And yet, we still have the intolerance of the man-made watchtower publishing house.

P SACRAMENTO- Good point about the bloodguiltiness of the WT society. I've often wondered what would happen with my JW relatives if it came down to saving their lives by taking blood. Wonder if they'd go against their witness trained conscience or give into the WT societies authority if lives were on the line.

J WOODS - Yeah, even when the WT society TRIES printing something on child abuse ( which is just for PR sake anyway to BS the public ) they are really creepy when addressing the subject. They just don't know HOW to get rid of the creepiness factor. Very true- they are intolerant towards anybody not giving in to their control

@ barbara: thank you for the significant work
you do with such diligence...the WTS cannot
stand in the face of the real truth... its diminuition
is looming, and your continued exposés of their
heinous practices surely contribute greatly to that end!

Thank you Marvin. I sometimes wonder if in time the WTS will try to suppress that Awake about children giving up their lives over blood transfusions. We should keep picturing this ridiculous message everywhere we can in the cyber space. I really think that the actual picture of these dozen or more little kids who died over this man-made rule is a more moving testimony than talking about hundreds or even thousands of unknown or unpictured JWs. Plus the fact that the WTS is so uncaringly proud of this murder accomplishment that they put it on the cover of a public news magazine - it really does show in their own words where they are coming from.

It really is quite remarkable that this doctrine appears to have been the subject of a lot of debate before Franz got it rammed through as a DF offense. Another thread indicates that many, maybe even Knorr, did not ever like the rule - but that FWFranz wanted it as a control measure and mark of "persecution and contraversy" over the flocks.

My gawd, people - if it were uncertain enough to be a subject for debate, did it not occur to anybody that they were just about to declare a potential death sentence on their own people over an obtuse rule which was never solidly scriptural.

The point that Barbara exalted about the Watchtower, is that this is a « dangerous » religion, because people has died, dies and will die because of their senseless interpretations, while a religion, a faith should save people's lifes!

JW Woods shows the example of an orthodox Jew while eating pork under extreme circumstances would be forgiven. Didn’t Jesus meant almost the same when he said, in Luke 14:5: And he said to them: “Who of you , if his son or bull falls into a well, will not immediately pull him out on the sabbath day?”

The respect for the sanctity of the Sabbath, a God’s given law, could be broken if A LIFE was involved, should not be same today in case LIFE OR DEATH are involved?

Do the Watchtower Management read, meditate, and understands the Bible, or is the spirit they ‘receive’ that hides the right teaching of Jesus’ words?
