it never ceases to amaze me how our sense of our own looks affect how we project ourselves, even to the extent of what we do sometimes....

This is soooo true. I worn a hat every time I went out all summer long. And it wasn't just because of the sun. I just didn't want anyone to see the mess my hair was in.

Now. . . I don't want to wear a hat at all.
