I find it incredible that these men who are supposed to be the best most spiritual men the Witnesses have to offer, yet in the 70's 80's period one Edward Chitty was gay...Leo Greenless was a Pedophile and we even had an "Apostate" Ray Franz who turned on the organisation. Goes to show no human organisation is run perfectly.....can we expect more bumps in the "Governing body road? Hope so!

there have been many bumps 007, there were many rumours about Nathan Homo Knorr, Rutherford was a sexist/bullying/egotistical/alcoholic, Chuck Russell had a sex scandal affecting him, Fred Franz was clearly mentally unwell, and there must be tons more stuff floating around

AE, the thing is they removed them from the GB BUT put them on the infirmed pioneer list. And they even quoted Greenlees in a WT article after this event happened. So it was quite an honorable discharge for all except Ray Franz. Since Ray had issue with doctrine he was the only one considered evil.

Well, when its up to PEOPLE to decide who is annointed or not, indeed, its up to the individual to proclaim it and then he/she is reviewd and as slong as he/she "tows the party line" then they are accepted, then being annointed means as much anything else declared by "man" means.
In other words, it doesn't mean squat.
God decides through Jesus, NO ONE ELSE.
