I think in this rare case we are in agreement there is time for seriousness but God did not create the abundance around us and an ability to laugh and love in us so we cannot enjoy it and have happiness from it

That is too bad for him, such a sad thing when someone blocks feelings of joy and happiness. Can't even crack a smile..can't even giggle at something adorable like a puppy or kitten pouncing on things that we can't even see! I think this guy has been seriously injured mentally, and is afraid to let any signs of laughter or joy show. I know someone like that....used to be anyway. He is getting much better and can sit and laugh about goofy things till the sky falls and loves it!
A good laugh is like an internal massage, it just feel soooo good!
