  I would like the preface my statement:There is a religion that is totally neutral in wars,neutral in Gov't, neutral in the Judiciary,however that religion is not the j.w./wbts.The reason is the wbts uses the court system to fight it's battles.As an example a court case in Canada about blood.They lost the case so now they must obey Satan's system/Gov't.They cannot now say we must obey God rather than man because they put their faith in Satan's system hoping for victory which came not.Another case in France,they did not want to pay what the Gov't asked,so they used Satan's system and lost.Why put faith in Satan system hoping you can get a short repreeve.How can they say they are neutral when they use Satan's system.Another example would be flag saluting,take it to court and lose,so now you have to salute(took God out of the picture).

  How many OT examples are there that the nation of Israel went to the pagan's court.Why did not Jesus call for angelic help when he was before the court(Sanhedrin).Yes the j.w./wbts have a very narrow view of NEUTRALITY.It is not only war,it is gov't,it is the JUDICIARY as a battle ground as well.

  PS:The court system has changed over the years: Look at how liberal it is today,same sex marriages,gay rights,etc, so is the wbts putting faith in the court system.It will sting them in the behind.

  Going to war on a governments behalf and killing people that ccould be believers of the same God as you christians is a lot different than applying to governments on caesar issues. Caesar allows for courts to be applied to so it is a part of paying caesars things back to caesar. If caesar didn't have the courts in the first place they wouldn't be able to be apply to them.

  Paul himself appealed to rome 'the disgusting thing'.

  Being neutral is not just about fighting in a war.

  Romans 13.1-4 very clearly says that that it is God's minister for doing good. If the Watchtower feels its money is being threatened then the neutrality goes out of the window. In case after case they show they are very far from being neutral. A good example is the UN scandle where they became an NGO so they could use the United Nations to further their ambitions. The things the society fights about are very rarely to do with obeying God's law rather than caesars. It is nearly always to protect their precious organisation. It is just another example of the societies double standards. Say one thing then do the complete opposite.

  You use UN as a faulty example because it doesn't involve any taxes and Paul himself appealed to rome to save his life so he could carry on preaching. Jws are not members of UN only countries can be. Their status with UN was for information to help the preaching work.

  Now back to france and taxes, the court process (totally legal process of caesars) they are going through is for two issues firstly to be recognised as a religion in france so to gain religious freedom and secondly to not have to pay taxes that have been falsely assessed on them by saying they are not a religion. If they lose they will pay the taxes no doubt about it but I bet they will keep alive the fight for getting recognition as a religion for the protection of thier people and faith so they can keep preaching God's message.

  To make this just about money is just buying into another apostate rhetoric that is about making Jws money greedy but to be honest the lack of wealth of those in lead roles shows that it isn't about this at all, you need to maybe have a word with the pope in his castle, wearing his kings ransom in jewels surrounded by servants and flying around on his private Jet.

  and then there are the televangelists with their empires and agendas, as well, who would need a word as well, just so neutrality is maintained. After all, everyone needs to play by the right rules.

  the wbts needs to acknowledge how as an entity enjoying and fighting for religious freedom on the one hand, it at the same time limits and restricts the space provided by the political state for individuals to seek justice and escape from totalitarian practices which the WBTS itself practices.

  My sympathies are with the poor unfortunate individuals who are to shut up and wait on Jehovah whilst the WBTS uses their contributions (the widows mite comes to mind) to fight for its own freedom. THis is an abuse of power imo

  Yes You're right JW's are not a member of the UN, but the WTS was for a long time memeber as an non-govermental organisatian.

  Sorry to tell reniaa but that is total BS. It is what they want you to believe, but they refuse to pay money for healthcare for their loyal workers at bethel and in special fieldservice. While th big bosses of the WTS them self they don't need it, because they just pay it by money JW's give to the organisation.

  And don't forget mr Rutherford who lived in the house build for the profets, while drinking and having secret relationships with women.
