not that there is anything wrong, but JWs are masters of the garage sale shopping (especially since they go in service on sat/sun and can see them during service)

Jw's are also masters at taking advantage of public assistance. they get the welfare and work cash jobs for 1-3 days a week

Poor or not, the witlesses are too stingy to build better buildings. And by better, I am not referring to crosses and statues (though, until recently they used their trademark symbol in lieu of a cross) which do cost a lot of money.

But, Kingdumb Hells are generally pieces of crap. They throw up a building in three days (plus 2-6 months for site preparation) to give the illusion of having God's spirit when in fact it is crap workmanship. Notably, given the tools, I could easily put a pre-fabricated structure up that is as simple as a Kingdumb Hell in a couple of hours, as a pre-teenager. Getting the quality takes longer, which busts the myth that they have any special spirit.

Quality materials also cost more money (Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund money). I have noticed that every single Kingdumb Hell I have ever had the displeasure of going to has had crap climate control systems. The air conditioning always seemed to conk out several times a year. The last regular boasting session I attempted to go to had to be cancelled because the heat in the back room conked out, which it has had a history of doing. They have crappy temperature controls (or people that do not know how to set a thermostat). Many lack windows, though that is just as much to prevent distractions as to cut costs. The flooring under the carpet is particle board (which outgasses formaldehyde, and without ventilation, that is going to lead to many a headache or worse). Things may look reasonable on the outside, but I have seen more problems with the alarm system, doors, HVAC systems, lighting, and electrical systems in Kingdumb Hells than is expected at any worldly building.

Perhaps when they have a fire because the electrical system is not up to the task, they will realize that better electrical systems are cheaper than fires. As for the p*** poor air conditioning, getting a $2,000 electricity bill because the air conditioning goes on the fritz will be more expensive than just getting the higher grade unit in the first place. If they get burgled, it might well be more expensive than putting in a decent alarm system that is not prone to conking out on them. Or, maybe they just love to throw away their money (or beat up on people to donate even more when those higher bills start coming in).

I used to be an insurance broker selling commercial property/casualty insurance to small businesses. I noticed the businesses where the owners had big houses and fancy cars, usually had cash flow problems. A small downturn in the economy killed many of them. I had to look at their books to be able to quote premiums.

The businesses that were owned by people that lived modestly rode out the down turn with ease. The first group spent everything to put on appearences. The second built financial security.

I have some relatives that recently joined the JW’s – the major reason I am on this board. They are supposed to be baptized at the convention this summer. Their ‘brothers and sisters’ ‘encouraged’ them to spend a few hundred dollars on clothes for meetings and field service. They don’t have much money, but they did it.

I guess the point that I am making is that you can’t tell from a casual visit, what a person’s financial status is. You have to pull the curtain back and see what is behind the façade.

Jesus always emphisised the way of no wealth.

Thank God the WTS isn't like the rest of Christendom, with billions of dollars of real estate and annual income in the hundreds of millions!

    Er, wait....never mind.

Churches vary in size as communities of followers vary in income and are known
    for charity and outreach programs.

Kingdom Halls are inexpensive as the JWs leaders discourage college education
and are little known for charity programs for non-JWs.

It`s incredible how many people have no understanding of the WBT$.......The WBT$ is a multi-Billion dollar organization.......They are not Poor!!

There are many wealthy Jehovah`s Witness`s..Not as many as poor JW`s..

So many people who do not like the WBT$ think the religion is poor..

So many people who are Pro WBT$ think the religion is poor..

And.Would use Jesus to prove thier point..

"In Jesus day the rich liked their rich pomp filled religions too but Jesus always emphisised the way of no wealth."....Reniaa

I find myself in an unusual position..I have to thank Reniaa for pointing out Jesus would not have approved of the WBT$..

    ...........LOL!!...OUTLAW
