Questions for Reniaa and JW's to think about:

1:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that today's Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses is the sole channel of communication between God and mankind?

2:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that Daniel's prophecy about King Nebuchadnezzar's 7 years of insanity has a secondary meaning, and why we should believe that this secondary meaning is pointing toward Jesus becoming King in 1914?

3:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that there are two separate classes of Christians, one class that will live forever on earth, and the other class that will live forever in heaven?

4:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that Jesus is the same person as Michael the Archangel?

5:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that the number 144,000 in Revelation is a literal number, while all of the other details about the 144,000 are symbolic?

6:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that the Jehovah's Witnesses were chosen as God's only people on earth in 1919? (What were they teaching in 1919 that would have made God choose them over all the other religions?)

7:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that the Book of Revelation was predicting certain JW Assembly Talks given in the early 20th Century?

8:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why we should believe that the "other sheep" spoken of by Jesus were not simply Gentile believers who would eventually join the Jewish believers?

9:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why it is acceptable to receive blood fractions?

10:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why it is wrong to vote in a political election, but it is a good thing to pay taxes?

11:) Can you explain, using only the Bible, why it is wrong to join the Military (in a non-combative position), while Jesus commanded us to carry a soldier's weapons for two miles?

The simple answer (I would say) is No, to all of these questions. Access to a well-grounded understanding of all the relevant words, phrases, and global contexts is fundamental, in each case. This likely comes from years of study, enough to know the significance of the various cross-references, in relation to the possible motivations for each question. Often, knowledge of secular history and the history of religious discussion is important, even the religious/ cultural/ language background of the particular housholder(s), so as to know how to lay the groundwork so that each answer is received by each learner as the holy spirit intends. — Spike Tassel.

Sometimes I wish yall would give her a break or change the tactical approach.

I suspect she is part of the ever growing population of 'grey witnesses'. She knows there is a level of self-proclaiming BS but she agrees with many of the interpretations (core three, literal 144,000, and resurection during the millennial reign etc), this is her tradition and she wants to fellowship or associate herself with those of similar beliefs.

Why not find areas of agreement versus backing her into a corner.

    Again....just a suggestion.

Reniaa dosn't have to answer, any JW can, but if these questions, about their published beliefs, when they claim they are backed by the bible, push reniaa back into a corner, there is something radically wrong with the JW doctrines, she, or any JW should be able to defend these things, from the bible , if that is from whence they came.

You are making the same mistake as Reniaa does Ynot, these questions are not a personal attack on her, they are asking her, or any Dub to show us where they are in the Bible. Reniaa has many times on here made the unsubstantiated claim that what JW's teach is closest, out of all religions ,to the Bible,

O.K Reniaa, NOWS YOUR CHANCE TO PROVE YOUR CLAIM, by answering the above eleven questions, from the Bible.

If each of the 11 questions were made into its own topic, and if the lead "Can you explain, using only the Bible …" were replaced by "How do you explain, using the Bible and supporting evidence …", then it wouldn't be so unwieldy. — Spike Tassel.
