Let me start by saying that I'm not fond of folks asking me if I have a church and would I like to go to theirs...over and over. I figure after I say no the first time that should be the end of it but for some I guess not

I live in a tiny fourplex and there is a young couple (I would guess in their mid twenties), with four kids, who live two doors down. The wife has already asked us three times and before she asked us the last time she related how she might be changing churches because the paster of her church is very judgemental and keeps hounding her about how she isn't living her life right. wtf?! Why would she ask me to go to something like that?

As long as we live here I will continue to say no.

I know how to find a church if I want to attend, so I don't need people on my ass about it. If I'm interested I'll go. Otherwise I won't. Nagging me about it will only serve to increase my aversion to it.

If I don't want churchgoers to nag me about going to church I avoid the churchgoers. The best way to avoid churchgoers is to avoid church.

It's a very simple concept, but it seems to be beyond many churchgoers.

Them: Do you have a church and would you like to go to mine?

You: I don't like to talk about religion.

Rinse and repeat as long as "Them" keeps asking.

    And "Them" always keeps asking.

Josie, that's weird. She wants to change churches, but invites you to the one whose pastor is quick to judge?

I keep thinking that she's just immature (cuz of some of the other stuff she does)
