My original post doesn't mention a conspracy!
The WHO are doing a good job being catious but theres no need to panic with 8 dead in Mexico....people here are rushing to the Doctor but it's flu season anyway......don't panic is my thread.

Funniest thing I've heard for a long time. My daughter works at the local hospital. Today a woman came in and started coughing. One of the workers pulled a mask out of a box on her desk and handed it to her. "What's this for?" she asked. "You have to wear it, it's hospital regulations, because of the swine flu epidemic." "Absolutely not," the woman cried as she eyed the box. "It says right there on that box that those masks came from Mexico!"

I wonder when it will be a felony, or classified as a terror attack, to refuse to get your flu shot. Even though I have known people that took the flu shot and then got the flu shortly after--while I refused to get a shot, and got nothing (or a little tiny cold several months after).
Cheap and uninformed shots about vaccines are vying with flu shots. Just for the record:
- Medically, it is possible to get the flu within 2 to 3 weeks after getting your flu shot because you could have already been exposed to the flu virus in your community and hence, incubating it by the time you receive your shot. Medical practitioners warn people to get their flu shot well within the time frame when they'll need it.
- In any given year, the vaccine covers most of the expected flu strains - but not all; no flu vaccine can ever capture all possible variations.
- It is also well-known that some people, even without flu shots, are more resilient and are not prone to developing the flu. Medical practitioners recognize this as well.
- Flu shots save the lives of physically vulnerable population groups such as young children and elderly men and women - generally, the highest proportion of those who are likely to die from complications arising from flu symptoms .
