    Greetings Spaghetti Lovers Everywhere:

Due to my ethnicity and natural-born hungers, I must have pasta daily. I must. This need has taken on a new twist, however, and that twist ain't in the noodle. I have cable but unplugged it long ago. Once I got past my fear of R-rated films, I allowed myself to view on VHS the Sergio Leone trilogy that featured some TV actor named Eastwood. Whoever.

So now, in my work, I get a daily dose of Spaghetti westerns. I was so intrigued by the sights and sounds pouring out from the widescreen TV that I sat through Death Rides a Horse yesterday and would have sat through Navajo Joe if I had had the time.

The music - ocarina or trilling flute or strangely intoxicating mixed choral chants - had me mesmerized. And the visuals are even paid homage to by such notables as Quentin Tarantino. And the story line ... ahhhhhhhhhhhhh....

    Am I hooked?

    You?

My Name is Nobody. Henry Fonda was in it. It has been years since I've seen it but would like to see it again.

"The good, the bad, and the ugly" is definitely my favourite. Tuco was my favourite character.

    Howdy Pardner ... OUTLAW!

Thanks for those worthy additions. I liked Lee Van Cleef in Death Rides a Horse. He ended up being a good guy, IMHO.

I'll be getting my daily allotment starting again tomorrow.
