I had been worried about him because last summer he had quit going to meetings, and when I Asked why he said it was because he was 'spiritually weak '. Then he went to the convention with his old friends from home .
I was afraid to bring up too much information to him because I thought he might shut down listening to me . I am sure after reading my favorites and web site history he had his curiosity sparked . I am glad he read information from here and has started his own research .
The blinders are definitely off for him now !
I know how it is to be afraid of the unknown . I have felt empathy for so many on here that have mates and relatives that are deeply entrenched . Don't give up sometimes it just takes time and for you to be consistant in your own belief and happiness in the chage you have made . They notice if the change in you is positive. Thier own curiosity may be triggered when they see you enjoying life now void of the theocratic pressure, and joylessness being a busy witness can bring .
