360 degrees to equal a circle? Why? It seems such an off the wall number. Why not 200 degrees? Why not 400 degrees?

Just think how much differently our minds would work if there were 400 degrees in a circle. There would be no "180s," instead it would be "200s." An eigth bend would be 25 degrees. A 45 would be 50. A 720 would be 800. Degrees would be a more sensitive measurement. Why would anyone in their right mind pick 360?

Kind of reminds you of how American measurements like feet and yards don't make nearly as much sense as the metric system. Of course I was told as a kid that the U.S. was going to convert to the metric system. I was also told I would live in a paradise earth. Man, I got lied to a lot growing up.

    John,

When you grow tomatoes and jalapenos you won't wonder about such things.

    What's cilantro?

I thought about trying some habaneros this year, but every time I've tried them they die. Tomatoes and jalepenos are a lot easier.
