  I know in 2002 I posted the fact that someone called me & told me that the WT was saying GOD HAD A Body
  If you read that site ,you will see I had to apologise,it was a faullty read.

  Well today I have recieved a call from an ex curcuit servants wife informing me that the FEb 1st Wt 2009 page 5
  seems to be indicating it .GOD HAS A BODY,,,

  She also suggest's a reading of the Awake that goes with it. Says they are shooting them selves in the foot...
  Can any one read it & tell me if that is what they are referring to PLEASE!!!!!

  I'm sure at one time they did because they said his throne was on Alcyone in the Pleiades cluster of stars. They don't teach that he is omipresent so that would imply him at least having a location. I have been thinking about this lately trying to remember what they taught when I was a JW and what I believed at that time. Some Christians believe that Christ will be in the physical body he had while he was on earth for all eternity. I find the idea very odd and primative. If you find it please print it. I'd like to see it.

  It reads:

  'It is true that "No man has seen God at any time" and that "God is a Spirit." (John 1:18; 4:24) but this does not mean that he is without any type of body or form. The Bible tells us: "If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one." (1 cor. 15:44) So does Jehovah have a spiritual body?

  Yes. When Jesus was resurrected, he "entered ... into heaven itself, now to appear before thepersn of God for us." (Hebrews 9:24) This teaches us two important facts about God. First, he has a place of dwelling. Second, he is a Person, not simply an indefinable force that resides everywhere.'

  So they're saying he has a spiritual body, not a physical one. That final sentence, along with the next few paragraphs in the article looks as if they might be trying make a clear distinction between the personof jehovah and the Holy Spirit (not a person in WT eyes). However they might also be inadvertently denying one of the qualities of God though - that of his omnipresence.

  Mouthy....I think what they are essentially trying to ease into now is....breaking the news gently...that Jehovah has "other organizations". But rather than call them "other organizations" they are using the word "body" to make it more acceptable to the dubs.

  They will probably use some scripture like everyone can't be a hand or a foot....every part of the body has a different assignment and capability.

  They may bring up that this is why WT does not do charity work like food and shelter....because another "part of the body" is looking after those things. (I know in some of Russell's writings he said 'charity is what your taxes go for' or something along those lines. He said that is why there was no need to 'give' more.)

  Anyway...now it will come out that there have always been other organizations ( overseen by Jehovah) . They will not come out and say it like that, but they will tiptoe all around it.

  Wait till you find out...much much later that the hand and feet organizations teach luciferian and socialistic principles. I imagine some of these sister organizations will be 501(c) 3 or even 501(c)10
