Animals are shot while hunting all over the country and no, it is not unethical. This wolf issue is of political manufacture in order to attack a certain individual.

I never said that shooting an animal was unethical. I said shooting an animal FROM A HELICOPTER is unethical. But hey, that's a personal opinion. If your state allows such practices, and you think it's cool, then by all means blast away. Most hunters I know take pride in being able to properly stalk and set up on an animal, then kill it with the most primitive means possible, i.e. bow or black powder.
For someone to think flying out into the back country and blasting at wolves with an AR-15 is "hunting" displays what a true idiot they are.
